Tony co-founded the company with Vince and Dan in 2001. He designed the open business model that has driven the company’s growth in sales, product offerings, strategic partnerships and global sourcing capabilities. Additionally, Tony manages the development and execution of the organization’s strategic priorities.
Prior to founding the company, Tony spent 14 years with Henkel Consumer Adhesives where he served in a wide-range of leadership roles, including New Product Development, R&D, National Sales, and most recently as the VP of Global Sourcing. Under his leadership, Henkel’s Sales Division pioneered many new customer relationship and category management practices that earned them Vendor of the Year Awards at Walmart, OfficeMax and Staples. While managing the Global Sourcing unit, Tony led the procurement of more than $167 million in merchandise and forged strategic relationships with manufacturers around the globe. Tony also served on Henkel’s Executive Committee.
Tony earned a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University where he achieved All-American status as a wrestler. He then earned his MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College.

Dan co-founded the company with Tony and Vince in 2001. Since then he has built the corporate infrastructure necessary to maintain the company’s growth. He is directly responsible for managing the company’s operational framework and ensures that the product development, logistics, financial and sales efforts are synchronized around the globe. Additionally, Dan has played an instrumental role in designing the corporate strategy and business model.
Prior to founding the company, Dan spent 10 years with Henkel Consumer Adhesives where he was most recently Executive Vice President of North American Sales. His sales and marketing career is highlighted with many notable achievements. While at Henkel, Dan’s team grew the Walmart account to more than $100 million in annual sales. In addition, his team was the first and only supplier in history to ever receive 3 Vendor of the Year Awards from Walmart in the same year. Additionally, Dan and his team designed many of the modern category management techniques and practices that serve as industry standards today. Dan’s successes led him to become the youngest member of Henkel’s Executive Committee in the company’s history.

Vince co-founded the company with Tony and Dan in 2001. He is directly responsible for company’s worldwide revenue generation efforts as well as the day-to-day operations of the sales organization. He plays a central role in shaping the corporate, brand and product strategies. Additionally, Vince oversees the organization’s marketing and go-to-market strategies.
Prior to founding the company, Vince spent 10 years with Newell Rubbermaid, where he served as VP of North American Sales and grew the Eldon division to more than $400 million in sales through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The company regularly received Vendor of the Year Awards from retailers, such as Walmart, OfficeMax, Staples and Office Depot under his leadership. His successes led him to receive the Newell Achievement Award for Marketing, which was given annually to the highest-performing Sales and Marketing associate within the 30,000-person corporation. Before joining Newell Rubbermaid, Vince was involved in the development of advertising strategies for Anheuser Bush, Procter & Gamble, and M&M/Mars while working for DMB&B Advertising in St. Louis.
Vince earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Missouri Western State University, where he was an All-American football player. He was inducted into the Missouri Western Athletic Hall of Fame in September, 2009. Vince was chosen by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 1985 NFL draft. He also received a Masters of Science in Advertising from Northwestern University.

Eric leads the company’s creative vision. He’s responsible for producing groundbreaking designs that range from brand development to packaging design.
Prior to joining the company in 2003, he founded his own design studio in that was headquartered in Cleveland, OH. He’s also worked as an art director for Snyder International Brewing Group (SIBG), Adcom Communications and FitzSimons Advertising.
Eric studied graphic design at the School of Visual Communication Design at Kent State University. He has received recognition from American Advertising Federation’s Addy Awards for his designs.
Eric is a member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and CDPUG (Cleveland Digital Publishing Users Group).
Sean joined the company in 2003 as a project manager. He has played a key role in the company’s sales growth over the past several years. He currently oversees the development and management of our retail and commercial office products customers. He also focuses on leading many of the company’s sales and marketing initiatives. He has extensive experience within the consumer products industry, including customer service and vendor performance metrics, logistics, catalog reviews, trade shows, category management and new product development.
Sean earned a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University where he received the Ed Sherman Award for the Ohio Athletic Conference in football.

Kristin joined the company in 2005. She currently manages the office in Bentonville, AR and is responsible for the day-to-day interactions with the Walmart and Sam’s Club accounts. She has more than 11 years of category management experience across a wide-variety of categories and customers. Previously, Kristin worked for Henkel Consumer Adhesives and was most recently managed the Category Analysis Group where she was responsible for advising Walmart in 17 U.S. and 5 international categories. While managing the Category Analysis Group, Kristin’s team won 7 Vendor of the Year Awards.
Kristin is fluent in Spanish and has spent time studying and living in Mexico City. She received her bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University and earned her master’s degree from the University of Akron.

Sean joined the company in September 2007. He is responsible for managing the organization’s global sourcing activity, supplier management and new product development initiatives. Based in Shenzhen, China, Sean has played an instrumental role in managing production costs, improving quality controls and supplier service levels.
Prior to joining the company, Sean was a Senior Sourcing Manager of Esselte Corporation, one of the world’s largest stationery companies, where he oversaw the global sourcing office located in Shenzhen, China.
Earlier in his career, Sean served as a Senior Buyer for Newell Rubbermaid where he focused on global sourcing and supplier management.
Sean earned his bachelor’s degree from Shenzhen University.
Jim joined the company in 2008 and oversees the finance, operations, and human resources functions.
Prior to joining the company, Jim spent 16 years at TTI Floorcare (Royal Appliances Manufacturing, Co.), the makers of Dirt Devil and Hoover products. During his time at TTI, Jim served in many roles and most recently was the Corporate Controller.
Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cleveland State University.

Maureen joined the company in 2008 as the Logistics Manager. She is responsible for managing relationships with the company’s manufacturing partners, international shipping, warehousing, and customer shipping. Additionally, Maureen plays a key role in overseeing other operational and financial initiatives within the organization.
Prior to joining the company, Maureen spent 21 years at Henkel Consumer Adhesives where she most recently managed the Accounts Payable department. Under Maureen’s supervision, the department achieved a 99.99% accuracy rating for an audit period covering 44 months. This included disbursements for both the US and Canadian companies totaling over $1 billion and 175,000 transactions.

Ashlee joined the company in 2011 as Assistant Marketing Manager and was promoted to Marketing Manager in 2014. She attended Miami University in Oxford, OH for her undergraduate degree in psychology and went on to Cleveland State to get her Master’s in Consumer and Industrial Psychology. While at Cleveland State, Ashlee was very involved in research and assisting with undergraduate classes.
In the role of Marketing Manager, Ashlee works on a wide array of projects, from managing customer setups to preparation for sales meetings to handling our web presence. She assists in all phases of the product life cycle, from item creation to analyzing the product’s success in retail. Additionally, she manages our direct import business with some of the world’s largest retailers.

Ben joined the company in 2012 as Marketing Assistant. He attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio for his undergraduate degree in Marketing and went on to Cleveland State to get his Master’s in Business Administration. While at Cleveland State, Ben studied abroad in Portugal and Spain.
In the role of Marketing Assistant, Ben assists in directing our online presence, which includes our social media and e-commerce strategies. He supports the company’s sales efforts by preparing Point of Sale reports, assisting the launch of new products, and contributing with all facets of the business.

Tina joined the company in January 2013. She is responsible for monitoring our open purchase orders, productions and shipments on a daily basis, as well as handling our Direct Import shipping documents. Tina is also our liaison between customers and suppliers. Based in Shenzhen, China, Tina plays a key role in making sure all of our shipments progress smoothly and efficiently.
Prior to joining the company, Tina was a Senior Coordinator for Mattel Corporation, one of the world’s largest toy companies, where she was responsible for their daily shipping operations.
Earlier in her career, Tina worked as a customer service specialist at Tinch Trade Company.
Tina earned her bachelor’s degree from Nanchang University.
Cherry joined the company in March of 2014. She is a key member of our sourcing team and is responsible for monitoring our open purchase orders, productions and shipments on a daily basis, as well as handling our Direct Import shipping documents. Cherry is also one of our liaisons between customers and suppliers. Based in Shenzhen, China, Cherry helps make sure all of our shipments progress smoothly and efficiently.
Prior to joining the company, Cherry worked at In the Flow Design.
Cherry earned her bachelor’s degree from Jiangxi Agricultural University.
Christina joined the company as our Key Accounts Manager in December of 2014 after working for Idea Stream as a Manufacturer’s Representative for 2 years. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA in American Literature in 1997. Upon graduation, she began her first sales job selling Computer Equipment and has been selling ever since.
Christina has extensive experience in B2B sales and has worked for Merisel Open Computing Alliance (MOCA), Arrow Electronics, Sun Microsystems, SARCOM and Hedstrom Toys in the past. She has received multiple sales awards and customer service awards over the years and brings a “customer comes first” attitude to her position. She was able to double sales in Canada for MOCA; and was responsible for sales in all of Canada and all accounts located in the Eastern half of the United States.

As Finance and Operations Analyst, Tory assists the Finance and Operations Director, Jim, and Logistics Manager, Maureen, in day to day accounting functions. In her role, Tory works on a wide variety of projects, and is responsible for tasks in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
What does Tory enjoy most about the company?“Everyone is very motivated and it is a great team environment. Innovation and creativity is always encouraged.”
Philip joined the team in 2017. He comes to the company with a wealth of experience having worked in the design field for over 35 years as an Art Director at ad agencies, design firms, and corporations. He has worked for such companies as BP America, Homax, Madison Avenue West and Nottingham Spirk Design.
Some of Philip’s specialties are concept and design, brand development, product and packaging creation, and photography direction.
He attended Cooper School of Art in Cleveland on a scholarship and majored in communication and design. He enjoys history, reading, painting, gaming and has authored a book on German armor of WWII.

Duane Duan joined IdeaStream as a Supply Chain Coordinator, effective in January 2018. He is responsible for monitoring our open purchase orders, productions and shipments on a daily basis, as well as handling our Direct Import shipping documents.
Prior to joining the company, Duane worked as a customer service executive at Chishing printing.
Duane studied Physics and Electronic Science in Wuhan Vocational College of Science and Technology from 2009.
Jessica joined the team in 2018 as a Sales & Marketing Analyst. She assists the Marketing Manager, Ashlee Hietanen on projects that include item setups and new product development. She also focuses on growing their direct to consumer sales.
Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA in English. She comes to the company with experience in marketing and sales from companies like FOX & ABC, Dale Carnegie and Ash Brokerage.

We collaborate as a team to take an idea for product innovation and bring it to reality. It’s very exciting seeing the life cycle of a product from start to finish!”
Maddy joined the company as a marketing intern in August 2019 and now serves as the Customer Service Specialist. She graduated from Kent State University’s globally-recognized fashion school with a major in fashion merchandising and worked in the bridal industry before joining The Stream.
In addition to her role as Customer Service Specialist, she is actively involved in many functions within Ideastream, including consumer support, trend analysis and forecasting, and customer-specific product development activities.
Abbey joined the company in 2019 as a Marketing and Sales Assistant. She assists the Product Manager, Ben and the Marketing Manager, Ashlee on a variety of different projects. Abbey performs a wide array of daily tasks including customer set ups and working on new product development.
Abbey earned her bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University in supply chain management and marketing. During her time at John Carroll, Abbey played on the women’s soccer team and studied abroad in London, England.
